About Keepery

Last updated: 29 April 2026

We make custom AI-rendered portraits of homes, printed on museum-quality paper and shipped worldwide. We're a small team — most days a one-person team. We'd rather tell you that plainly than pretend to be bigger than we are.

Who runs this

Keepery is run by Happy Earth Designs Limited, a tiny outfit based in the South West of England. Mostly the South West bit of someone's spare room, if we're being honest. You can reach us at hello@keepery.art — that goes straight to a real inbox we read, not a "we'll respond within 5–7 business days" form. If we don't reply within a working day, please nudge us; sometimes things get caught in spam at our end too.

Where the artwork comes from

Every portrait is rendered by AI — specifically, Google's Gemini image model — from the photo you upload. We've spent a long time tuning the prompts for each style so the results look intentional, not generic. You can read the exact pipeline on the homepage's "How it's made" section.

We say this clearly because the audit-style honest answer is: no human paints your portrait stroke by stroke. We think the result is still beautiful, and crucially, it's still uniquely yours — your home, your photo, your inscription. But we want you to know what you're paying for.

Where the print comes from

We don't run a printing press. Our print partner is Gelato, who operate fulfilment centres in 33 countries. Whichever country you're in, your print is most likely produced and shipped from the closest centre — meaning lower carbon footprint and shorter shipping times. Paper is 200 gsm matte by default, with optional 200 gsm silk-coated and 250 gsm archival upgrades. Frames are solid hardwood.

Why this exists

Keepery started, as the best ideas often do, with a small domestic crisis. We'd recently moved out of a house we'd loved for the better part of a decade — the kind of house with a wonky floor in the kitchen and a draught no amount of sealant could find — and a few weeks in, my partner asked, slightly tearfully, whether there was "any way to keep it on the wall somehow."

So I went looking. The watercolour artists were lovely but quoted six-month waits and prices that would have covered another deposit. The cheap ones produced things that looked like a forensic reconstruction of a house. The middle ground simply didn't exist.

In the meantime, the spare wall in our new flat just kept being blank, accusingly. So we built this. A small, honest way to put the house you've loved (or are about to leave, or have just bought, or grew up in, or finally afford) onto a piece of properly nice paper. In a few days, not six months. For roughly the price of a takeaway, not a deposit.

We use AI to render the artwork — we're upfront about that — but the paper is real, the frame is solid wood, and the human paying attention to your order is, on most days, just me. If something's off with your print, an actual person reads the email and sorts it. Probably from a sofa, with a cup of tea.

Anyway. That's why this exists. Hopefully you like yours.
